New Rooms for Brock and Gage

We decided to get new carpet for the upper 2 levels & stairs of our home. It was extremely stressful to completely empty all rooms upstairs due to the large amount of stuff you randomly accumulate. I got big time stressed out having my kitchen full of stuff. But it was all good in the end. It was a good opportunity to really clean out the boys' rooms and get rid of stuff we didn't need. So instead of carefully moving Brock's old furniture out of his room and down the stairs, we just busted it up and threw it away. He'd had the same bedroom set of furniture ever since he was a baby. Jon and I decided to modernize and repaint his room fit for a pre-teen boy! We also decided that Gage needed a big-boy bed and it was time for his toddler bed to go back into storage. (hopefully to be used again someday sooner than later) So we converted Brock's futon bunkbed into a loft bed by taking the bottom futon frame out, and that became Gage's new bed. We also bought Brock another futon bed frame, entertainment center and dresser, etc. Both boys were extremely pleased with their new rooms fit for their ages. Gotta love change!

Gage so happy to go to sleep up high on his new bed!

Loft beds = more room
